Mariasela Álvarez Lebrón (born c. 1962) won the 1982 Miss World contest, representing the Dominican Republic. She became the first woman from her country to win this title. The pageant was held in London, United Kingdom.
In 1998, she was chosen as one of the best dressed people of the year by Dominican newspaper Clarin. She is presently working as a television producer in her native country.
After several years running "Esta noche Mariasela" on local TV, she moved in 2002 to Spain, where she keeps running a similar show with the same name.
