[edit] Legislative and councilmanic efforts
Reyna has concentrated her efforts in youth programs, family literacy, and affordable housing.
She has also worked to fight crime and reduce the gang presence.[1]
City Council is considering a bill Reyna has proposed, which, in the opinion of some, will uproot the artistic communities that have rejuvinated formerly desolate neighborhoods such as Williamsburg. The bill proposes to fine and potentially jail anyone involved in an illegally converted industrial building. http://www.nysun.com/article/57487
